| Recently few drops of blood were dropped into my carpet. I tried several ways to clean that. Now the intensity of the strain is reduced but still it looks slightly ugly in the carpet. Can anyone suggest any method to remove that completely? |

i hope this can help..
have you tried sponge and cold water? lightly begin sponging the stain from the outermost edges to the center of the stain, then use a clean sponge or cloth to mop up the excess water..Again, make sure to use outer-to-inner strokes to avoid spreading what's left of the stain..
Continue repeating the cold water and drying until you can't get the sponge to bring any red out of the carpet or fabric. Make sure that you allow the water to dry thoroughly between each sponging; let a fan blow over it or set a towel with something heavy on top of it. |

Try use the following steps:
--Blot the blood with an absorbent cloth, being careful not to spread the stain.
--Use a small amount of mild detergent directly on the stain. Work the detergent into the stain with a toothbrush or small brush.
--Blot the area with a clean, dry, white cloth.
--Pour a small amount of ammonia on the stain. Allow the ammonia to sit for several minutes to break up the stain.
--Blot the area with a clean, dry, white cloth.
--Apply a small amount of detergent directly on the stain.
--Blot the area with a clean, dry, white cloth.
--Rinse the area with clean water.
--Blot the area with a clean, dry, white cloth.
Hope they will solve your problem.

Hi,
Blood spots and wine spots are very difficult to clean. To remove these types of spots from your carpet you need to use hot water method. In this we use a high temprature hot water on the spot and brush it genetly that it didn't affect the fiber carpet. If the spot is still there then you need to call a professional carpet cleaner. |

hi,
I hope it can help.
To my knowledge I've never left a stain behind because I use hydrogen peroxide to remove blood drips. Even dried blood will sometimes be removed using this method.
Here are the step on how to do this out...
Soak up as much of the blood as you can with old terrycloth towels or paper towels. On carpet the best way to do that is to make a little pad with the absorbent material, lay it over the blood, and step on it. Turn the pad over or fold to create a clean spot and repeat
Once the blood has been soaked up pour a little hydrogen peroxide over the blood stain. It will bubble. The bubbles may turn brown. It's best to start with a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide rather than to soak the area.
Give the peroxide a few minutes to "eat" at the blood and then sponge it up, like you did in step one with the blood. Lay a clean absorbent pad of paper towels or old terrycloth towels over the blood stain and step on it. If the spot is on a sofa or chair or mattress, you can press it with your hand.
Repeat this process - pour hydrogen peroxide and let it bubble, sponge off - until the stain is gone. |

Try by covering the spot with a mix of flour and cold water. Rub gently and dry, rither by turning up radiators or exposing the item to the sun if possible. Brus off the paste once it has dried. Ypu can also try this with talcum powder. |
